No Signal Icon

Every asset has an icon that is set to a default icon. This icon is configurable, so you can change it according to what your asset is. 


How to configure your Icon:

1. Log in to Client Login on the Cartrack website.
2. Click on List at the top of the screen.
3.Click on Vehicles in the toolbar under List.
4. Find your vehicle by searching for your Vehicle name or Registration plate.

5. Click on your vehicle.
6. Click on EditVehicle, far right on your screen.
7. Then click on Vehicle Settings to the left of your screen.

8. Under Vehicle Settings, to the right of the screen you will see the word Default.
9. Click on Default and an option box drops down where you can select the Icon to match your asset.
10. Then click Save.


How to check if your asset is streaming data:

1. Log in to Client Login on the Cartrack website.
2. Click on Map at the top of the screen.
3. A toolbar drops down where you can see vehicles that are active or inactive.
4. When the Circle with the car in it is GREY, this indicates that the ignition is off.

5. When the Circle with the car in it is YELLOW, this indicates that the car is idling.

6. When the Circle with the car in it is GREEN, this indicates that the car is moving.

7. When the Circle with the car in it changes to the No Signal Icon, that looks like a wifi icon, this indicates that Cartrack has not received data from this vehicle for more than 7 days.

8. The No Signal Icon, will always be at the bottom of the list, so you will always need to scroll down.

Why would your asset not be streaming data:

There are two reasons:
1. The vehicle has not moved or been driven and everything is fine. Then there is no action required from you.

2. The vehicle has been moved, which means the device is malfunctioning or it has been disabled, in which case you would need to contact Cartrack. We will then arrange for an urgent repair.
